HISTORY
Ladimeji & Co was formed by Dapo Ladimeji in 2004, out of a desire to provide specialist services in a strategic manner. Moving away from the model of providing often template advice, our approach is to tailor our advice to the strengths and focus of our clients and then assist them with implementing their vision.
Prior to forming Ladimeji & Co, Dapo had been international tax partner at one of the longest established firms in the country, where, at the time of his election, he became the first Black partner in the City of London. He pioneered many leading edge tax techniques, having established the first UK/Soviet joint venture, which became a template for investing in former communist countries for many years. He was invited to deliver the first public courses for the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) on Transfer Pricing.
Dapo has written on tax policy and predicted the emergence of general anti-avoidance legislation a decade before it appeared. He has won assignments from clients of all types, from all continents and nationalities - ranging from Japanese and American multinationals to Indian industrialists and European entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals.
He is currently Chair of one of the branches of the International Fiscal Association.
